Purveyor of deep, techy grooves with a uplifting twist for good measure.
That’s how Mikey Duncan describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to take things a bit on the deep side or swing things in a more up tempo direction. His musical selections radiate the styles he loves.
With quite a mixed musical influence his sets are fresh and will certainly have you shuffling to some moody basslines and crisp house beats.
“For me it’s all about creating an atmosphere with the music, whether its 5 people or 500 people moving and grooving from the sounds you’re playing, there’s no better feeling to me. That’s why I love it.”
As a self taught DJ/Producer Mikey is always pushing himself to improve his techniques and skills through his mixes and tracks, aiming to become better in all aspects of dj’ing and producing.
Fresh from playing in Space Ibiza for Carl Cox’s Music Is Revolution parties, a feat that most DJ’s can only dream of as well as previously playing in other iconic venues such as Ministry Of Sound in London and The Arches in Glasgow, holding down a residency with Digital:Groove and some interesting collaborations and original projects coming up in the studio, it’s clear to see he is on the right path and thing’s certainly look bright for his future.
