INDEPENDENT UK BASED HOUSE AND TECHNO LABEL

Established in 2004, Central Scotland born DIGITALGROOVE have grown from humble beginnings to become one of Scotland’s most prolific labels and one of its most popular House and Techno music brands.

Still run today by the same small but respected group, whose knowledge and expertise in the music industry are matched by their passion and enthusiasm for the music and parties, DIGITALGROOVE Records evolved in 2014 and has launched and nurtured the careers of many successful DJ’s and producers while seeing their brand and resident DJ’s invited to events at some of the world’s biggest clubs.

Names such as John Jones, Birds In The Basement, Ramsi, Mark Storie and Smythy have been added to an ever-growing, and increasingly in demand, roster of artists that already includes DIGITALGROOVE’s own Mikey Duncan, Woody and head honcho, Alex Maxwell AKA Derek Mcnee.

Such is the quality of the output on the label, together with the energy at a DIGITALGROOVE branded events, it’s no surprise to learn none other than Carl Cox invited DIGITALGROOVE to host their own room at his Music Is Revolution parties at the legendary Space, Ibiza during 2014 and 2015. 2016 brought around the hugely sad news that the world’s number 1 club was to be closing it’s doors for the final time at the end of the season and DIGITALGROOVE were lucky enough to be asked back for the third year running to host one of the main club rooms and it was a truly emotional time for all involved but an experience never to be forgotten.

With influences ranging from classics on Strictly Rhythm and Defected through to Hot Natured, Toolroom, Soma and Cocoon and from the likes of Green Velvet to Eats Everything, the brand’s residents continue to play to packed venues, big and small, both at home and abroad while continuing to champion the best in new, local and established talent.

With a lot more exciting developments in the pipeline this will see DIGITALGROOVE evolve once more.

Our A&R team will listen to every track sent to us however in our studio we believe in quality over quantity and have vigorously stuck to this mindset since the day we started. If you think your music is of the required standard to be released on our label then send us your best work for our consideration.

Please note that we will only reply to music that we feel is right for our label and when offering a recording agreement.
